Agree or not, 3D printing is creating a bit of a problem environmentally, and will only continue on this path ever more as time progresses. The use of plastics for filament will turn into a 250 million pound problem by 2020, according to researchers. This is why a company called Dimension Polymers is setting out to create a 95% recycled 3D printer filament, the first of its kind. Early next year the company will be launching a crowdfunding campaign to raise funding, and awareness of their upcoming 3D printing filament.
