The French 3D printing, community platform company Sculpteo has created an online-accessible Thickening Tool, which Sculpteo customers can use to modify 3D models with areas that are too thin to print. The process is very straightforward, involving only a handful of steps once an file is uploaded. The Thickening Tool adjusts designs without distorting them, although users are encouraged to double-check the integrity particularly of multi-colored 3D models before doing the final 3D print.
