    Tiniest Metal Parts 3D Printed

    I thought these were pretty incredible. A new process of micro laser sintering of metal via a 3D Printer has yielded the following miniscule metal parts. These parts are printed by MicroPrint, who can build parts with layer thickness's under 5 micrometers. Microprint expects to grow this technology, expanding their reach. For now it is great for medical devices, jewelry, and automotive nozzles.:

    Is this printed by a 3D Printer that is available to consumers or more as something that is being experimented with? If it can print things with such detail that are so small, I wonder what kind of detail it can print in larger objects. I'd love to try this printer out.
