Cadillac Using 3D Scanning to Help Build new Elmiraj

It's certainly a beauty of a car. The Cadillac Elmiraj is what I am talking about. The engineers behind the car are saving a ton of time, as well as money by utilizing new 3D Scanning technologies.

The hot new car can be seen here:


They are able to scan variations of models into a computer and quickly pull them up as they wish to make changes to the current model. This means they can quickly make changes without having to redo an entire prototype. Check the video out as well:
