New York-based designer and artist Keith Lapinig loves a challenge. Lapinig, primarily a video/graphic designer, had little experience with 3D printing but didn't let that stop him. Inspired by Disney's upcoming "Big Hero 6" movie, and armed with his MakerBot 3D printer, Lapinig set out to create a true-to-preview costume of Hiro Hamada from the movie. Hamada wears bright blue armor that took Lapinig about 125 hours to print in 10 pieces. After assembling and painting, the full costume is all ready for its debut at Disney World's 'Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.'
