Italian graphic designer and author Pietro Corraini recently faced a pleasant conundrum: his young daughter was bringing him too many beautiful, tiny flowers she'd picked in parks and by the sides of roads. The flowers were lovely gifts, and he wanted to display them without overwhelming them in too-large vases or drinking glasses, which would overwhelm the delicate blossoms. Corraini turned to his design background and his Sharebot 3D printer to design new, small vases for his flower collection. He has made the designs, which he calls 'Trapulin' (which means 'small useless object' in the Milanese dialect), available online so anyone can print their own small flower vases.
