Do you remember making dioramas as a child? Remember how difficult it was to get the structure just right prior to putting all of the details in? Well, now, thanks to 3D printing the structure can simply be 3D modeled and then printed out on an FDM machine. This is what designers are doing for an exhibition of 3D printed mini gardens are doing. They 3D print the structure and then lay the grass, plant life, etc on top. The exhibit called miNiATURE can be seen this week at the RHS London Shapes of Autumn Show. Read and see more at: http://3dprint.com/20150/3d-printed-gardens/
