Congrats to MakerBot for Best Consumer Printer 2013

MakerBot took home this award from the London 3D Print Show. It's funny because I couldn't seem to find which printer won. I assume it was the Replicator 2 though.

They were well deserved for this award. In my opinion MakerBot is in the lead when it come to consumer level 3D Printers.

Whenever we do a demo to those not familiar with the technology of 3D Printing. The only printer they ever recognize are our MakerBots. We have followed MakerBot and used them since the very early cupcake days. The original crew in Brooklyn knew us by name and in person, sometimes I would drive in there from Jersey just to pick up some ni-chrome to make a couple of hot ends...because I knew they would show me around (again) and show me what they were working on.

They might not always have always been the easiest to get printing well, and lord knows we modded the hell out of them but they are all still printing for us.
