    Project Silkworm

Hey guys, not sure if you have seen this yet, but it's a new project creating a plugin for manipulating G-code, and doing all sorts of incredible things with your 3D printers. Basically you can control the G-code, meaning the speed, and extrusion flow as well as deposition path of all axes You are totally in your control. More details on this plugin can be found here: http://3dprint.com/16524/project-silkworm-3d-printing/

It is totally free to download under a creative commons license. Below is an example of what this plugin will allow you to do. Let's hear your thoughts. Have any of you used Silkworm yet?

Pretty cool, this could be useful for creating things IN Gcode or for tweaking the print parameters to create different surface textures.

    This is great,
I always thought that printing layers into a flat plane was not the only way to create objects, let's have more freedom !
