Best 3d image to print file
Hi guys, I am trying to do 3d coins to print. I had a few designed but it has just gotten too expensive. I can make the image, but I need a program that will do a two-sided image to print file converter. What would you recommend. It has to have great relief and user friendly. I am not a designer who can write code. I tried a couple but the coin look was rough at best. It sunk the design on parts. and the edges were rough. I need something this nice. This is just side one. Here is the one I and trying to do front and back

You have to use a height map/depth map to create proper geometry to be able to print correctly. Workflow: 1. Use an AI depth map generator to create a height map of the image. There are several free ones online. You want to use the best image quality for the opportunity to get a good depth map. 2. Use a 3d modeling software or slicer to generate geometry from the depth map. My goto is Blender but CURA can also do it. 3. In a 3d modeling software combine the two sides. 4. Export as StL and print. I know it sounds complicated but once you figure out the workflow its fairly easy. This is my personal workflow for my cnc pattern making for using AI tools. Good luck
