Glue - 3D to Metal?
Hi, As shown in the attached pics.... I have a 3D printed part (cylinder or post of sorts) that slides and fits into a metal instrument holder. The metal is unknown, probably pot metal. The "instrument holder" is like a yoke or "Y", where the neck or head of the instrument fits into it. The instrument holder part is commercial. This specific size instrument holder is designed for, and will hold a violin (five pounds or less) QUESTION: What would be the best glue, or epoxy to glue this in place? Thanks AJ

what kind of plastic did you use? What type of forces will be applied to the plastic.. will it be a constant pulling from the metal? I do not see a picture but I would model the 3d printed part so the surface has a knurled finish to it to help hold the adhesive. I try not to glue anything as it typically is not a permanent solution.
