Ultra Newbie questions. Cheap 2 color unit? Heat tolerance of parts.
I need recommendations on my first unit. I have never used 3D printing before so buying the wrong unit is a real possibility. What is a good, economical 2 color model?I am wondering if any filament choices will withstand 200F degree water without distortion. I am trying to make a automotive cooling system part that is no longer available. Original oem part was hard a rigid. Thanks to anyone who replies.

I would suggest doing your part design and then have the model printed by a printing service. You should do a bit more research on types of filament and the requirements to use them. This is not like buying a desktop inkjet. You need to know what you are buying and why one printer is $200 and others are $2000.. I am not a fan of "Entry Level" anything and 3d printers are some of the worst.. Look at https://bambulab.com/en there is a lot if data there and these are some of the simplest to use for a beginner I am told.. I do not own one but have been told they are as close to plug and play yet to date. Good luck in your research.. Take your time and do it correctly.. you current project can be completed using a service for much less than you might waste on an inexpensive printer that does not do what you want.
