Hi,I have been given access to a large size CreatBot 1000 at work.Neither I or the co-worker who is the "owner" of the machine have had much luck with it.

He prints a lot with PLA. I mostly use ASA and some PLA.We can get smaller prints to work sometimes, but trying to print anything large mostly fails.

Getting the print to stick is a big problem. I wasn't involved with the original set up and I haven't tried to adjust the screws to level the 4 piece bed. It looks lined up well and I don't want to mess with that.I do the auto-calibration. I adjust the nozzle offset to adjust the z, and sometimes I use the auto-level, but I don't really see where it helps at all.

This is the first time I have tried to print on anything but a glass bed. I'm guessing glass is not an option for this printer.
We have purchased 2 different types of build plate covers - one is black and one is yellow/tan.
That's all I know about them because the only place I could find them large enough is on a site with almost no description. They don't stick to the surface well. The black came completely loose and the other gets bubbles making the bed unlevel.I wish I could find something to cover the entire surface, but even 500x500 pieces are crazy expensive and then you still have 4 seperate plates.

I also get a lot of what looks like underextrusion. Cranking up the heat is helping with that, I think, but I'm still working on it. It seems to me that the path that the filament must travel is so long and convoluted - to me there seems to be a lot of tension on it for the exturder to overcome.
I wonder if that's a factor. That might just be my imagination. I don't know what to do about it anyway.

Sorry for the rant. I have found no help in the users manual, website or google even.

Anyone have any tips that might help us figure this thing out?

Thanks.
