Help removing brim
Hey all,
I used to had problem of poor bed adhesion. To mitigate this problem, I started using brim and at the same time, I also increased the initial layer height and decreased the printing speed of first layer (to squeeze the first layer more).
But now I have ran into another problem. Earlier, I was able to remove the brims pretty easily.
I think now brim is also being printed with same parameters as that of first layer. This is making brim too thick and impossible to remove by snapping it off from print.
(I am using ultimaker 2+ and ender 5 pro)
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Not familiar with that slicer but in S3d slicer there is a setting that says how far to print the skirt from the part, you may want to increase that if there is such a setting. In S3d it is called skirt offset from part. And yes, if you make changes to first layer it will also effect the brim. Since you made those other changes a brim may no longer be needed..
