    Flashforge Adventurer 3 Pro question

    Hi

I have recently switched from a Flashforge Adventurer 3 Lite to a Flashforge Adventurer 3 Pro.

When printing on the lite printer I never had a problem getting prints to stick to the flexible plate, in fact on occasions I had problems getting the prints of the plates. With the pro I seem to have the opposite and my prints are not sticking to the plate.

The lite plates were easy to remove, clean and reuse.

The plate on the Pro does not appear to be easy to remove and my prints will not stick. On the lite I never had to add anything to the plate, is the Pro plate different, can anyone advise please.

    Thanks

    Kev

It could be your nozzle is set too high when the print starts. Try adjusting the 'Z' offset in the SLICER SETTINGS to make the nozzle closer to the bed, try it in 0.02mm increments and print a test square between each adjustment. Lots of youtube videos on setting the 'Z' offset

Yes, the Adventurer 3 Pro has a different build plate—it's coated with a textured PEI surface, unlike the Lite’s smoother plate. PEI usually helps adhesion, but if prints aren’t sticking:Wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol (90%+) to remove oils.Even though it's auto-leveling, manually adjusting the Z-offset slightly lower can help.Try slowing down the first layer speed and increasing the extrusion temp slightly.Helps with adhesion on tricky prints.
