    Bizarre Sudden Stringing

Happy to have found this place! So, I’ve had my Creality v3 se for about 8 months. Never had a single issue with stringing. Suddenly, I have a terrible issue with stringing. Like overnight. Two things have changed. One, I used up my Creality nozzles and bought a 20 pack of nozzles on Amazon. The other is I started printing with a PLA+ that is crazy tough and sticky. When changing it out for a different filament, I can push a foot through the hot end and still get streaks of the PLA+, and it will continue to do this well into the next print. This pic is with a brand new nozzle, and with a filament I’ve had no issue with in the past. All of my filament is put in the drier before I print with it. Creality Print software with no overrides. Yesterday I had retraction all the way up to 4 and distance up to 5, and while there was some improvement, there was still an unacceptable amount of stringing. Is it possible some of that PLA+ is jammed up in the hot end somewhere and is preventing adequate retraction? I’m pretty stumped and could use some veteran advice. Thank you in advance everyone!

You could do a cold pull to clear any residual filament from your nozzle, see youtube for a demo of this. You can get lengths of specific nylon filament that are meant for doing a cold pull, possibly from a filament supplier or Amazon

I haven't tried that, but I do recall seeing some of that filament. I'll definitely give that a try. Thanks!

PLA+ requires a little hotter nozzle and a little faster print speed, reduce retraction to about 1mm, enable Z-hop to about 0.4mm

Noted. Appreciate the response Roberts_Clif. Unfortunately the stringing is happening with everything I put through it. It just started after the PLA+ was introduced.
