What is the best material type for this printing
What is the best material for this design. The design have 2 pieces tight together. cable driven through the middle hole. This actually works as a compaction die.
1. I need hardest material
2. Inner hole must get shined(polished) as the cable driven (not get upset )
I have attached drawing and photo of old material used (Cut by Lathe).

I appreciate your kind reply.

So this is a steel cable guild? I would use nylon since it has self lubricating properties. There are many varieties of nylon, I am not sure which you would use.. depends on your machines abilities. All Nylon must be dried prior to using.

For your design, tungsten carbide is the best material due to its extreme hardness and wear resistance, while also allowing the inner hole to be polished smoothly for cable movement. Alternatively, tool steel like D2 or M2 can work well if you need more machinability with still high hardness.
