Creality Ender 3 V2 Print quality issues
Hi, Can anyone help with an issue I have with inconsistent print quality with my Ender 3 V2. The set up I have is as follows: Creality Ender 3 V2 with Creality Sprite Pro direct drive extruder.Upgrade bed springs and wheel adjustersCreality PEI Printing PlateBLTouch probeMain board is versioin 4.2.2Running Klipper V 0.12.0-384Moonraker VC0.9.3-3Crowsnest V4.1.9-1Fluidd V1.31.0 The sequence I use to calibrate everything is as follows1. Reset Z_offset to 0 and clear the bed mesh profile2. Lower the bed with the adjustment wheels to its lowest point3. Manually level the bed by moving to each corner in turn, lowering the nozzle to -4.5mm (at each corner) and then using a 0.04mm feeler gauge and adjusting each wheel until I can feel the nozzle just in contact with the feeler gauge.4. From Fluidd perform a probe_calibrate ( using the same feeler gauge) to set the initial z_offset and save the new value.5. Create a new bed mesh profile and save that to printer.cfg6. Perform a test print in the centre of the print plate and adjust the z_offset with the controls in Fluidd until I'm satisfied with the print quality and save the new z_offset to printer.cfg7. Repeat the test print to unsure the the print quality is as expected. This is where things start to go a little pear shaped. After performing all the above the print quality is very inconsistent, even when using the same test print in the same location on the print plate but, even wors, if I try to print the same test print in one corner of the print plate the print fails completely!!I have just returned to using the printer after a period of around 3 months when it was not being used. Before that it was printing just fine. As I had not used it for so long I re-calibrated everything and now I cannot get any consistency in my prints. I've been doing this every day for the last3 or 4 days and getting nowhere and I'm fast losing confidence in both the printer and my own ability. Am I doing something wrong? Are the steps I take to level the bed and get everything else calibrated in the right sequence? Am I missing something? Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated as I'm rapidly approaching the point of taking a very large hammer to the printer!!!Keith.
