    3D Printed Snapfit Electric Guitar

    Have you ever wanted to print something really big, for instance an entire guitar on your desktop 3D printer, but was limited by size? One VP at GrabCAD developed a way to do just that. He printed out an electric guitar in several pieces which fit together. The final piece turned out quite amazing, and it was all done on a MakerBot Replicator 3D printer.     I have already printed a number of guitars on my Rep 2... 2 of which are Strats and both look a HECK of ALOT better then what you are showing here!. The details of every guitar project are discussed on the "3D Printing Today " podcast... threedprintingtoday.libsyn.com.
