Marlin Compiling
A few (6) years I purchased a Creality 3 printer, I then upgraded the mother board to a BIGTREETECH Direct SKR V1.4 Turbo Control Board + 5pcsTMC2209 V1.2 also a BIGTREETECH TFT35 E3 V3.0 Graphic Smart Display I followed Chris,s vid step by step (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHMZ0ocTYvM&t=31s Parts 1 & 2) I had to put the printer in storage for 3 years. (moving from Arizona to Louisiana). In September of this year I retrieved it from storage. Hooked all together, no Marlin operating system on the board (? I think I did a reset). I went back to his vids trying to duplicate the compiling procedure. The current copy of VS code has change so much, and me Not being program savvy and being a show me step by step person, I am lost. My request is, would anybody compile the current Marlin for this board w/the 2209 drivers (no extras)for me? Coffees to you. Any thing would be appreciated. God bless.... David

I do not see a problem with helping you out here. I have updated my 3D Printers from Marlin-1.1.0-RC6_Hici3-1.1.0-RC6_CL061316a to Marlin-2.1.2 And have helped many others who have the same or similar Hictop Printers do the same. I help users with similar printers to mine an those unfamiliar printers in their firmware compiling needs. Thou you are in luck have compiled many versions of Marlin for Creality 3D printers an would be happy to assist or compile the newest version. Do you still have the last version of marlin you complied. It would make the configuration go quicker.

Thanks for the reply Roberts_Clif I am looking for the current Marlin software set up for the BIGTREETECH Direct SKR V1.4 Turbo Control Board + 5pcsTMC2209 V1.2 with the LPC1769 processor. I do not have any extra accessories only the stated TMC 2209 drivers. I was on the edge about to reconnect the original Creality board. Thanks for the life-line. So at your convenience, what would be the next step? David

This is the controller I just purchased it is a BigTreeTech Pro V1.1 with TMC 2209 drivers. I have already configured marlin though still designing and building my CoreXY, So have never flashed to the controller until I finish the build. I have compiled Marlin 2.1.2 for the controller though this is as far as I have got to date. Is your Creality 3 printer stock or does it have upgraded hardware devices other that the controller and drivers. Have you ever used Visual Studio Code with PlatformIO and Auto Build Marlin. I would assume if yon can get me the most recent marlin build I can get started, I will ask others if I may need to do something special configuration for the TMC2209 drivers.

Do not see much difference mine controller has a ARM-level Cortex-M4 168 MHz STM32F407ZGT6 chip, your uses LPC1769 120MHZ chip. My Marlin 2.1.2.2 Firmware still complies without errors need to select Creality 3 printer mother board and some Creality printer hardware configurations. This is the Ender 3 correct. Will download Marlin directly from the Creality website and update the newest version Marlin and Update to the new controller with TMS2209 drivers then ask my friend who has a Creality what he believes is also needed.
