    Newbie Z18 Owner Seeks Help

Hi, I am a retired man, 66, living in Franklin, KY., south of Bowling Green, and north of Nashville, TN. I recently acquired a MakerBot Replicator Z18 3D printer from a university in Indiana. It is a nice machine, but I am totally GREEN on this new (hopefully fun and profitable) hobby. I am looking for someone who lives close to me, who has REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE with these machines. Someone who can drive here once per (week/month/random?) to help me get to a point where I can eventually create and make things on my own. I am s-l-o-w-l-y trying to learn Fusion 360 software, but I am struggling with it. I can learn things easy enough, but I have memory issues, and what I learned a month ago, is LOST unless I stick with it on nearly a daily basis. As long as I work with the software OFTEN, the knowledge is retained. I am willing to pay someone a reasonable hourly wage, or some other negotiated compensation, to help me get "up to speed" on this 3D printer, and quite possibly the others. Either that, or we can work out some use of these machines for your own personal projects as pay, or partial pay, etc. I am very flexible! FYI, I also have these other machines and tools (listed below) I have acquired via online auctions during this covid zombie apocalypse, all of which are waiting for me to give them the attention they need, and to LEARN how to use them. I am seeking someone who can help me with ANY or ALL of these machines ... Okay! I replaced the user control panel and the door latch and lower hinge pin. It is printing now! Gosh, this is ADDICTIVE! Joe

Learned Fusion 360 using you tube video's
Wanted to build a controller case cover for my 3D Printer.
Knew a little so created a box and hollered it out to give me the desired thickness needed.
Watched anther video that showed me how to curve the corners and edges
Then cut the fan grid into the Face including a 3D Printer Make.

Watch for your self in the video I made. basically learned the steps as I needed them.
I kind of know this is the hard way, though only needed a simple case at that time, one day when
I have time or have better tutorials will try to learn the correct way.
