There is no doubt that 3D bioprinters will have an ever expanding role in healthcare within the next several years. One area which may progress the fastest is that of skin bioprinting. A team of bioengineers at the University of Toronto have created a machine they call the PrintAlive Bioprinter. It is capable of printing out artificial skin grafts for burn victims.
