    Paint Type

I'd like to paint my PETG print that can withstand the sun (UV), sub-freezing, water, etc. Is enamel paint the way to go? Would it need some kind of sealer on top?

what type of plastic did you use to make them? Temperature survival is determined by the material not the paint.. put PLA in the hot sun and it will get soft and deform. Type of plastic determines what you can paint it with.. Nylon can not be painted.. but it can be dyed. ABS need paint specifically for ABS as acetone will melt it so paint solvent must match plastic type.. PETG never tried to paint it but it is fairly solvent safe so I would think anything that would work on ABS would work on PETG.. good luck

This would be for PETG. So acrylic paint would work, so sealer or any other extra spray? Thanks.
