How do I print a temp tower?

Do I have to just find the .stl and print away or do I have to set the temperature manually on each row in the slicer before printing?

If using an STL file you will need to set correct temp at the designated spot. If not then I have been doing it wrong for a long 8 year time period. As STL files do not contain configurations for temperature settings, and using Pre sliced G-Code could give you undesirable results.

There is a ready made adjustable temperature tower in the calibration menu in Orcaslicer

Perfect! Thank you both. Gotta love Orcaslicer, I had no idea that was in there.

To print a temp tower, you need the STL file and a bit of slicer setup.

Import the file into your slicer and use the "Change Temperature at Layer" option (found in post-processing or scripts, depending on the slicer) to set temperature changes for each section. This automates the process.
Alternatively, you can manually adjust the temperature on the printer during the print, but automation is more precise. Just ensure the changes align with the tower's layer heights for accurate results.
