Need to design a thumb ... do cad programs use nodes?
Hi all. I have an Ender3 printer but have not used it in several years nor have I used a CAD program for quite a while.I design almost everyday but 2d designs. In most of my designs I use nodes.I need to make a thumb prosthetic for a friend. I just opened Tinkercad and could not figure out how to modify the cylinder or if that is even possible.I know I can take multiple shapes and weld them ... but I am wondering if I can add nodes to the shape to change circumference of the top, middle and bottom of a cylinder. Thanks all,J

I don't know Tinkercad, but in Fusion 360 the spline tool puts nodes on.

Thanks.
Are you use the personal or pro version?
I just downloaded the personal version but it keeps crashing.

Just the free version with a limit of ten saved projects, a few features are disabled but it's adequate for my limited ability.
