Printing time- Is this right?
Hi all
very new to 3d, in fact my 1st printer doesn't arrive until saturday.
I settled on a comgrow t500
Poking around for something useful to 1st time print and found a tortilla warmer.
In playing with cura slicer I'm getting printing times in 1.25 days.
other parts are several days
IS this normal?

The print time will depend largely on the size of the print.
It's a large bed size on that printer, so presumably your proposed print takes advantage of that.

Print time is dependent on print speed, extrusion width (nozzle size). layer height, infill percentage, travel moves (nozzle moving between areas where it prints), modle size and amount of support material needed if any.. So if you have the print speed set to slow or the infill percentage too high and a huge part with a .04 nozzle, could take days.. Bigger nozzles let print more plastic at one time and can produce taller layers.. part does not look as nice with tall layers but it gets printed way faster ..
