    Multiple Base Layers Flared

Hello,I have these 2 puzzle pieces that I'm using to test settings and clearances for another project that will use these puzzle pieces. I think I've got the clearances pretty close, but the bottoms of both pieces are wider than the tops. The pieces should be 40 mm x 25 mm and they're within the accuracy range at the top of the print. However, the base was flared out so they don't "mate" together properly. I thought that this was a result of elephant's foot and adjusted the horizontal expansion accordingly (0.22 mm). The initial layer seems to be about right, but the next 8 layers are all wider, and then the top 15 are all accurate.
I am using the Longer L5K Pro

So I ended up fixing multiple things and the issue has been resolved. There was some dried grease in the z lead screw. I also did the dual axis upgrade, but neither of those seemed to fix it. I changed printer settings including bed and nozzle temp, extrusion %, base layer cooling, and horizontal epansion. None of that helped either. I checked all of the Y and Z V wheels. Finally, the issue was resolved after tightening the eccentric but on the X axis V wheels. The hotend must have been overtravelling on those initial layers for some reason.
