Hesitation!
Hi! I need purchasing advice. I would like to replace my old moded Geeetech with a modern printer. I mainly print small technical parts in PC/ABS, PCTG and nylon, so precision and good thermal control are mandatory. Speed, why not, but it's not the priority. I have a small budget of around $700.So I hesitate betweenBambu P1s (I don't like the proprietary side but it prints well)creality K1C (lack of precision?)Qidi q1 pro (practical heating chamber) Flashforge M5 pro (fairly precise but restricted klipper), and why not oneGood quality Voron kit (apparently the prices have dropped a lot). There are probably other alternatives that I don't know about... I looked at a lot of more or less reliable comparisons, but some informed opinions would be welcome! Thanks in advance !

just some personal observations...........
Prusa.......MK 3 and MK 4 are reliable, well established and supported, spares available.
Bambu......X1 and P1 series set a benchmark that others seek to achieve but have yet to attain. Spares reasonably priced and a lot of third party alternative aftermarket parts.
Personal experience from owning a Flashforge Creator3, Raise3D E2, BCN W27, Qidi X-CF pro and X-MAX3 is that the most hassle free and user friendly experience has been with a Bambu printer
Present printers.....modified Qidi X-CF pro and Bambu X1CLast edited by Bikeracer2020; 07-21-2024 at 08:35 AM.
