    Swiss Bank 3D prints model of clients home in mortgage process

    I wish that when I applied for a mortgage, the bank would have taken my blueprints and then turned them into a 3D printed model of my home. It would have certainly gone a long way in making me choose them as my lender. One Swiss bank has done just this for a client, and the results turned out quite well. Zürcher Kantonalbank took their clients blueprints, turned it into a 3D virtual model and then 3D printed it on a ProJet 660 3D printer by 3D systems. Check out the results below:

    I wouldn't be able to afford much of a mortgage. Here is what they would print for me:

    Housing is one of the world's most premium real estate markets. Perhaps this concept will be adopted by other lenders and real estate brokers.
