polaroid modelmaker 250s
Hi all i picked up a polaroid model maker 250s unused in its box wondering if anybody could reccomend a slicer to use for it as i cant get hold of the polaroid prep software anymore.

It helps to have the manual but i cant source the polaroid prep software.

Then there are several slicer choices, Prusaslicer, Orcaslicer, Cura and several more.

Thankyou Bikeracer 2020 ive sent them an email , i know the printer will work with other slicers but my knoledge with code is zero i wopuldnt know where to start.

You won't need any code knowledge.
Pick a standard slicer filament profile that best fits the set up you have, i.e bowden tube or direct drive extrder, set the bed size and max print height of your printer in the slicer and go from there.
Check Youtube videos about getting a good first layer and bed leveling and you'll be good to start the journey.

tried that printer not recognizing anything i put on the sd card

Can you post on here one of the files the printer doesn't read, preferably a small one.
Have you tried a different SD card?
I ask because I recently bought a new USB stick and whiuch appeared blank when I put it in the printer.
