First Resin printer - set up issue

Hi allI've just gotten my first resin printer off Trademe (Like a New Zealand secondhand store hahah), a Wanhao Duplicator 7 desktop printer. As it was secondhand, it only came with the power cable. On the back, it only has a USB Type A slot. So I got an A - A cable to connect my laptop to it but it's not picking it up or anything. Everything I'm seeing online talks about an HDMI slot, mine doesn't have one?I'm also not entirely sure what program I should be using to set it up?I'm quite confused and very much appreciate the help!

I have an ANYCUBIC resin printer that has a USB-A as well. But that USB-A slot is not for hooking to a computer, it is for a USB thumb drive. Some printers require a certain size limit of USB drive. Some are max 8GB, mine is max 16GB.
