    I think he means 'more than expected' and while I totally understand on an overcast day, getting meaningful solar generation at night would indeed be a heck of a trick. Then again, seeing a few millivolts in twilight is still a whole lot more than most people would expect, so they're surprised by it.

    Even moonlight is technically solar, man.

    Frankly though, my measure for a solar panel making process is "How long before the factory makes enough panels to completely power itself from its own production run alone."
