I've been loving my Tronxy X5SA but it has quite a few annoying issues. Lots of stringing and stuff. I've tuned it in quite a bit, but seen that some of these print issues seem to be experienced by a lot of other users. Lot's of YouTube reviews come up against similar issues. All of this is to say I really wanted to try out the BIQU H2 and see if it improved my printing. I love the large size of the Tronxy, so I'm hoping I can upgrade some of the guts and end up with a solid setup. I'm having quite a bit of trouble getting this BIQU to work, though. I only started playing around with DIY electronics and 3D printing and stuff a bit into COVID, so I'm still pretty new to a lot of this. I got the extruder to run off an arduino, so it definitely functions. But just pulling out the old extruder and plugging this one in doesn't work. I've seen some stuff about sending G-Code that changing the number of steps or something, but this would be my first venture into those configuration settings and manipulating them with G-Code. I'm also not even sure if that's the right move, haha. I've got an old Android running octoprint over serial on the Tronxy, so if it is just some G-Code it should be pretty easy to send over. Anyway, if someone could help me out or at least point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it!

P.S. This is my first time posting on this forum, or on any forum, at least since the pre-social media days. If I've done anything 'wrong' here, please just let me know! Also, if you've got 3D printing all figured out and have any 'I wish I knew when I was newer to this' tips feel free to add them as an afterthought to your replies.
