Any KS Backers?

Have any of you guys backed the ProtoPlant Kickstarter Project? If so, which backer level did you choose?

Hi,

I think I was the backer that put ProtoPlant's kickstarter over the edge! I went for the top end reels.
I thought you might like to see what I want to use the material for. I am the technical director for WallRover Ltd (www.wallrover.com). We are launching a small vehicle early next year. Have a look at this video for a flavor of what we do.

You can see our little prototype about 25 seconds into this video. The body, track assembly and chassis of this vehicle are all printed. I am looking for better materials to use for the chassis (ABS is not quite strong enough without bending). The CF filled ABS materials look like a possible solution without us having to go to silicon vac molding with a glass filled nylon.

Looking forward to getting our materials to test, the sooner the better (hint to the ProtoPlant guys )

Some good thinking, well done ProtoPlant, their material will really extent the real world application 3D parts can be used for.

Well I am a backer.

I have been wondering what to use the fibers for?

What can I do with high temp PLA?

What could I do with the carbon fiber, Richard ha a good use for I like the wall rover, seems a bit noisy but it does hg the wall.

And then the ABS composite what would I do with that?
