New hotend on XYZ Da vinci 1.0 Pro not working

Hi, My hotend on my da vinci pro broke. Properly after too many taken apart and cleaned and put back together again. It was a 12v 35w hotend. I purchaced a new hotend. This one: https://filament23d.dk/da-Da/e3d-hig...rtridges-12vIt is a 40W and not a 35W. I put everything together. However, it does not work. The hotend (and the nozzle) are not heating :-( In my head the 12v hotend should be able to be exchanged with anyother hotend of the same voltage. Is there something that I'm missing? I'm a bit worried that the extruder board might have fried. Br/Thomas
