3D Systems has continued their expansion. After an already busy week filled with facility expansions and acquisitions, today they announced the opening of a 30,500 square foot facility in Ohio, which will be used for R&D and manufacturing of 3D printer filament and the cartridges which house them. The facility will double the output available to 3D Systems, and focus on production of their post consumer PET filament used in their environmentally friendly EKOCYCLE printers, as well as a nylon filament for use within their CubePro 3D printers.
