    Amazing 1960 Aston Martin Replica Printed in 3D

    This was done on a VX4000 3D printer. Pretty sure this printer is out of most of our budget LOL

    Pretty incredible. It prints in dimensions of 4X2X1 Meters. That's huge. Wonder the cost

    With a bit of ingenuity and a lot of patience, you could achieve a similar result for a lot less money using a Solidoodle 2 like this guy in New Zealand: http://replicadb4.com/

    I did a bit more digging and it seems the JacobysOne post photos show a 1:3 scale replica DB5 used in the Bond film Skyfall. It may have been expensive to make this model but it would have been much cheaper than destroying the real car for the movie. The Solidoodle built model is full size to be used for making a working replica in composite.
