    Dyes\Pigments for clear resin?

Can anybody recommend a dye or pigment that I can add to clear resin to tint it. I want to make a translucent flame effect and to create some translucent magic fireballs.

I've seen a lot fo different resin pigments but I've been told that most aren't suitable for use with a 3D resin printer because they discolour when you try to cure them with UV. Or they adversely effect how the resin reacts when you try to print with it.

    can't you simply buy a pre-coloured resin ?

that article is worth a look also and has links to uv compatible pigments you can get off amazon.

That's actually the page that got me interested. I want to try the trick that they used with multiple colours to create a flame effect that goes from clear to yellow to orange to red to deep red.

The links that they posted are for Amazon US, and the dyes aren't in stock.

£14 with prime delivery - it's not going to get much cheaper than that.
