Right then, thats sorted the issue. Thanks! My brain still doesnt understand what is going on but the more i stared at my printers belt, and the belt in the picture you linked, the more i started to focus on the example pic having a 'gap' on the bottom side (facing ground) and mine having the gap on the opposing side facing up towards the print bed. This is where my brain and orientation don't mix well, but your example has helped me alot there.

As to the Advi3++ I'm tempted to do more research into it before making the jump, now that i'm not relying on it to be able to modify my firmware to reverse the stepper direction. And I'm going to download the belt tensioner and rod holders to increase longevity and stability, so thanks for the suggestions. Cheers all.
