That sounds really frustrating! Have you tried adjusting the height of the second nozzle? If it's too close to the build platform, it can cause the model to be knocked off. If the height is adjusted properly, then the second nozzle should not affect the model in any way. If you decide to remove the second nozzle, make sure to store it in a safe place for when you want to use it in the future.
