I'm using Duolingo to learn French, and I can say that this app is pretty good to learn the basics of the language.

You're right, but I can't say that it's good for anything else. Well, if you need to improve your vocabulary or listening skills, it's way better to watch Tv shows or movies on services like lingopie than trying to find new words in Duolingo, so that's a way more effective and entertaining option, I'd say.
