I Only Need Twelve Things To Get Started, Right?

For making miniatures, I did some homework, and came to the conclusion, that all I need are twelve things. Please, let me know if I need other items before buying.

    Software:

    1. Adobe Dimension

    Pre-Printing:

    2. Elegoo Mars Pro (My preference)
    3. Elegoo Gray Resin (Are there better liquid resins out there in the market?)

    Post-Printing:

    4. Elegoo Mercury 2-in-1 Wash and Cure Machine
    5. Denatured Alchohol (Not sure if it's better than Isopropyl Alchohol)
    6. Safety Gloves
    7. Safety Googles
    8. Pallet Knife
    9. Sander (To smooth out rough edges?)

    Painting:

    10. Primer (What works best with resin surfaces?)
    11. Acrylic Paint
    12. Paintbrush

I hope to be part of your forum community very soon. Thank you.

I've not seen Adobe Dimension as a commonly used program for creating 3D printable miniatures. In the web site, it's described as a 2D and 3D scene creator. You'd want a program known for creating models for 3D printing.

Fusion 360 is a good engineering type program, usually used for highly technical creations, but it does have a sculpting feature. Zbrush is very organic, Sculptris from the same company also organic, as is Meshmixer. Rhino3D can be used for such creations. There are likely many more better suited. Blender is another, but can create models that will not print on a 3D printer, unless special care is exercised.

I've not seen anyone use denatured alcohol, possibly for lack of efficacy. Isopropyl alcohol has to be in high concentration, upwards of 90 percent, while some YouTubers use green cleaners with equal success.

You must have missed those two chapters in your homework assignment.

The rest of your list is pretty well thought out.

Have a look at sculptris, it's free - unless you can already use the adobe thing.
Adobe software is just really hard to use and learn.

Fred already said that - but i DID LINK :-)
