Ender 3 pro - newbie wall gaps issue

Hi all, first print, first post!

Ender 3 Pro, Cura slice software

I’m getting these gaps in my walls (they’re supposed to be flat vertical) and I can’t really find a similar example on the internet to refer to and tweak my settings.

    Initial layer height: 0.24
    Layer height: 0.2
    Print speed: 80
    Initial layer speed: 30
    Retraction: 6 / 25

Not sure if there are any other settings you’d need so let me know.

I presume this is a newbie issue so hopefully someone can give me some pointers. Thanks in advance!

    Ben

What is you infill percentage set to.

    This looks vaguely familiar.
Set your perimeter "vertical shells" to 2 or 3 walls printing perimeter first followed by printing infill with overlay to .025

Hi thanks for the reply. Infill is 50%. I’m not familiar with those other settings but I’ll have a dig and see if I can find them!

I can't find anything referencing vertical shells or overlay in the Cura settings - any ideas?

It has been a while since using Cura mostly use PrusaSlicer 2.3.0 now.

Looked In Cura 4.8.0 and it is called Infill Overlap Percentage and Infill Overlap
