If you're working with 3D image data (e.g. MRI, CT, micro-CT...) and want to generate STL files for 3D printing, we invite you to try our software. Our image processing software ScanIP can import data, visualise, measure and process it prior to exporting an STL file.

The proprietary algorithms we use in our software mean that STL files have watertight triangulations and can handle multiple parts. The software also allows for volume and topology preserving smoothing. Internal lattices, which reduce the weight of printed objects without compromising their functionality, can be added to CAD and/or image data. You can generate STL files from scans for printing without having to deal with multiple intermediate steps and software. We also provide service work if you need a particular set of 3D models generated and prepared for printing.

Additional modules can be used to export volume meshes for FEA and CFD, as well as NURBS IGES models for CAD.
