    AutoWiz a quick question,On your second picture i can see that all parts (motherboard and etc..) were removed and placed on the outside. Is it ok to do cooling wise? I would like to do the same and remove that black box so i can rearrange and place all parts on the back side.

    Open air is how I setup all my printer mainboards. With the wires tied back away from the mainboard so it is out in the open with heatsinks facing up so that the heat can rise up and off my electronics and the cool air can fall down on them. The Multi Widow that I now just call Big Red..

    And I know it is not a 3d printer but I am a performance specialist running a Corvette shop for a decade now. You gotta see how I setup the Dyno for finding out how much power these cars are making and for tuning. I designed and 3d printe3d all the parts to mount the stuff on the wall and for cable management. You gotta keep it clean..



    In this life there is just no room for sloppy electrical. Back on the 3d printers loose and unsecured wires on robots with 3 moving axes is just asking the gremlins to come and visit.

    @ AutoWiz,Do you know by any chance if the standard PSU of Ender 5 is compatible with the motherboard that you advised?

    So all of the printers run on either 12v or 24v. All of the printer mainboards will take either. The heaters are meant for 12 or 24v but to be honest we can tune the PID loop controlling the PWM circuit driving the heaters so that is really a non issue and the heaters while saying 12 OR 24v can be used happily in either scenario. The fans on the other hand as well as lights you may have on your printer might care about 12v or 24v. Otherwise there are different wattages available but all of these 3d printer power supplies are 12v or 24v. Your ender 5 has a 24v power supply that is no more than 350 watts but might be as low as 270watts. Either way it is fine for any mainboard or electronics you want to throw at your printer.

    AutoWiz, maybe you can help me.

    I have 2 main questions and one small one.

    1. My thermistor has 2 pin connector but the board only has 1 2-pin connector and 3 3-pin ones. How can i connect 2 pin connector to 3 pin port? Which pins to use?

    2. How to what connect end stops?

    3. On original board extruder fan was directly connected to always on power port by wires. Here i just put a plug on it and connected to fan port. Correct?

    I think i got my head around it, but now i'm getting this error:I've installed and reinstalled everything, but still getting this error.
