Rough strip on printing, help please.

    Hello all!

It is my first post, I am newie on the 3d printing world and I have an Ender 3 since one week ago.

Setting of the printer has not been hard and I am very happy with the result in general. However all my models show a rare and rough strip just above the first layer, once the nozzle leave that height, the quality of surface is as expected with a nice and flat texture.

I am printing with PLA and using Cura 4.8. I have touched many parameters on Cura, temperature, velocity, layer thick, etc, etc, but I am still getting that ugly issue.

I show here an image with the issue highlighted in red arrows.

I hope someone can help me with this and point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance, greattings from Chile.

It looks like the temperature for the first few layers is too hot then once the correct temperature is acquired then printing is fine.
Can you verify the what to hot-end temp is for those layers.

Thanks Robert, I will change the temperature for initial layer and see what I get.

    Thanks again.

OK, solved problem! In case it could be useful for someone else... I only had to loose a bit the eccentric wheel of Z axle. I found the solution in a youtube video.

Thank you very much for your replies.

I see by watching another video how the eccentric nut causes the the assembly to wobble,
without seeing this it is hard to understand the print failures that could be caused by incorrectly adjusting the eccentric Nut.

    Again Thank You.
