Angry Defect when printing with ABS

    Hi all,

I am having some problem printing the corners of my model.. its coming out very distorted as in the attached picture.
I can't figure out what's wrong. I have tried changing the print speed from 60 to 45 but to no avail..

is it over extruding at at the corners?
It seem like the printed part is still mushy

ABS is prone to warping, especially if the printer is not enclosed. That covers the base of the model. The other "mushy" portion is underextrusion, which can be caused in many ways. Too low of a nozzle temperature, too high print speed (or both) and filament that has absorbed water from the air. Poor quality filament will cause similar problems.
