PrinterKit (Generators for 3D Printable Models) - https://www.printerkit.com

    Hello,

I’d like to mention a new 3D generator program called PrinterKit. It's a desktop utility program for creating common 3D printable STL files. It isn’t a full 3D modelling program, but it can be used to generate 3d printable objects like vases, heightmaps, and textual labels. If you end up downloading the app, the easiest thing to look at is the “Templates” section. This has a bunch of predefined generators that you can edit parameters for.Other core things that it has:

    - A 2D designer screen where you can define 2D surfaces to extrude
    - A scripting API so you can generate 3d shapes in code (Use the Lua programming language). Right now this is mostly limited to scripting extrusion
    - A mesh viewer that supports STL, OBJ, and PLY.

The app is very new so just looking to see if there is any interest in trying it out. There's a trial version available that lets you use all features of the program with the exception of STL export. Any feedback, complaints, ideas, etc are welcome and appreciated.

    Thanks,
    PrinterKit
