Dynamo D3D One Pro printer problem

I recently bought one of these large, fast, printers but have a problem getting it to print.

After levelling the bed, heating hotend and bed, loading filament and a GCODE file, the machine "homes" and centres but before starting to extrude the bed drops by about 35 - 30mm and I end up with "spaghetti" on the bed rather than a print.

Can anyone offer a reason or better still, a solution ???

what slicer are you using ?
see iof there's a command that looks something like this
    G1 Z30 F600

for most systems G1 commands are movement commands. So that command would move the z axis 30mm in a positive direction. Assuming you home at Z0 that would drop the bed by 30mm
I believe the F600 is a speed command for 'quite slow' - at least that's what it said when I was copying it into an ending script last night :-)

check your starting g-code - sounds like there's something there that shouldn't be.

I xan almost guarentee that there is a youtube video that shows you how :-)

I haven't looked at cura for years - but lots of other people have and many of them have made instructional videos :-)
