I'm reaching out to 3D printing enthusiasts of all levels from novice to advanced. I'll be teaching an ONLINE class this Fall at Orange Coast Community College in Southern California on 3D printing using Rhino3D and Fusion360. We will be using our Markforged Onyx Pro to print your own designs in Carbon Fiber-Infused Nylon parts with reinforcement layers of fiberglass (its a dual extruder). This machine is able to print structural, mechanical parts for a wide range of applications including robot end-effectors, gears, molds, jigs, etc. This class is open to anyone interested including those not currently enrolled at OCC. The class will be live synchronous on Zoom. Since it is an online class, parts will either be mailed to you (in the US) or available for pick up on campus in Costa Mesa at a specific time slot. We will also be doing test prints on the Robo R2 and Makerbot Replicator 5th Gen.
